Plant High School's Vending Machines Burglarized, Money Taken

The crime took place over the weekend, Tampa Police say.

Between Friday, May 18, and Monday, May 21, Tampa Police say, someone forcibly entered a 's courtyard by breaking an un-alarmed window.

Once in the courtyard, the culprit, or multiple culprits, attacked five vending machines, stealing the money boxes.

No other damage was noted.

Tampa Police Department crime lab personnel processed the scene at the school at 2415 S. Himes Ave., but there are no suspects at this time, according to Tampa Police Deparmtemt District I.
