President Barack Obama will visit the Port of Tampa on Friday afternoon to discuss the benefits of trade with Latin America, especially for the economy in the Tampa Bay area, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Air Force One is expected to land at Tampa International Airport at 2:35 p.m. on Friday, April 13, according to a Tampa Downtown Partnership release.
After his speech, the President will head to Colombia for the Summit of the Americas, a weekend-long event that focuses on a variety of international and economic issues.

The President’s visit at the Port of Tampa in not open to the public, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The local newspaper reports that, just four months before the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Friday’s visit will mark the third time that an Obama stops in Florida this week. The president delivered a speech to students on Tuesday in South Florida and first lady Michelle Obama was scheduled to arrive in Jacksonville on Thursday.
