Public Meeting, Update on Plans for Perry Harvey Sr. Park

The public meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 16.

This just in from officials at the City of Tampa:

The City of Tampa staff and planning consultants have developed preliminary plans for the redevelopment of Perry Harvey, Sr. Park. 

The plans are based on information derived from previous public meetings and recommendations from the Perry Harvey, Sr. Park Advisory Committee. The plans and supporting imagery illustrating the future park will be presented to the community in a public meeting. City staff will be available to take questions and comments about the redevelopment plans.

The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jefferson Street.

Parking is available in the Longshoremen’s lot and in the lot by the cemetery across from the church. Additional parking is available on street and at a large vacant lot at the old county courthouse location at Jefferson and Laurel Streets.
