RiverFest 2016: Free Holy Hog Mac and Cheese 'On Demand' April 29

TAMPA, FL – People in the downtown Tampa area can go hog wild with macaroni and cheese from one of the best barbecue joints in the area on Friday, April 29.

In celebration of RiverFest 2016, Uber and Friends of the Riverwalk have teamed up with Holy Hog BBQ to deliver free macaroni and cheese in the downtown Tampa area from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Holy Hog BBQ won the Mayor’s Mac & Cheese Throwdown during last year’s Riverfest.

Here’s how to order free mac and cheese from Holy Hog BBQ:

• Download the Uber app from your app store.
• Open the Uber app on April 29 starting at 11 a.m.
• Slide over to the Mac & Cheese option in your slider.
• Tap “REQUEST MAC” in the middle of the screen.

When connected, Uber will deliver a sampler pack of Holy Hog Mac & Cheese.

With high demand expected, check back often with the Uber app if the request is unsuccessful. The event will stay open while supplies last. New Uber users can sign up with the promo code RIVERFEST to get $15 off your first ride. Uber will donate $5 to Friends of the Riverwalk anytime a first ride is taken with the RIVERFEST code.
