South Tampa Socialite Jill Kelley Sues FBI for Leaking Her Name
Kelley lives off of Bayshore Boulevard in South Tampa, and was the center of a government scandal last year.
Socialite Jill Kelley has alleged that the federal government violated the Bayshore Boulevard resident's privacy by leaking her name in the midst of a scandal that ended the careers of Gen. John Allen and CIA director David Petraeus, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Kelley and her husband Scott Kelley have sued the FBI, the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Justice, the Times said, saying that the agencies improperly leaked her name.
The lawsuit, which is 65 pages, demands an apology, damages and an admission that the FBI violated the Stored Communications Act, the Times said.
