The first ‘Art on the Water’ event took place July 2011. Tampa artist Brian Taylor came up with the idea for ‘Art on the Water’ after witnessing year after year that the fine art shows always seemed to be taking place across the bridge in St. Petersburg. Taylor felt as though Tampa art was dying, and being a local artist himself, he did not want to let that happen.
‘Art on the Water’ is free and open to the public.
