Tampa Bay Counties Mass Emergency Service Notifications
All five counties surrounding Tampa Bay can send alerts during severe weather.
TAMPA, FL – As Tropical Storm Collin approaches the Tampa Bay area, many Tampa Bay-area residents are staying vigilant by checking on storm updates through different media.
However, for breaking news, each of the five Bay-area counties also have a way for residents to find out what’s happening closer to home during severe storms and non-emergency situations.
These mass notification systems are designed to keep residents informed with the alerts coming directly from the county governments. Registration is free for all five systems and can be customized to determine how alerts are sent.
