1. City of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor is planning changes to the process of selecting a new police chief after the most recent chief became consumed in a scandal that ended with her resignation and nationwide coverage into abuse of power. Mayor Castor met with WFLA to discuss changes planned including more community involvement in the process. (WFLA)

2. Seaglass Tavern has opened in Citrus Park located at 11935 Sheldon Road with a vairety of delicious seafood options to choose from. Their seafood pasta is a favorite and includes shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels and clams, tossed in a homemade spinach de fettuccini and creamy roasted poblano pepper sauce. (Tampa Patch)

3. Tampa's first drive-thru Chipotle has opened at 8301 North Dale Mabry Highway. There is a pick-up window for those who still want to come and grab an order through their website or app. The next planned locations are in Zephyrhills, Odessa and Ellenton. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

4. Tampa General Hospital (TGH), one of the top leading hospitals in the region, announced Tuesday that its Cancer Institute earned a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program established by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). 5. Tampa's very own Cigar City Brewing is ranked no. 9 in a recent list of best breweries in Florida by Thrillist.
