Tampa Police to Host 2 More Community Forums

Citizens Review Board is encouraging the public to attend the meetings.

TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Police Department Citizens Review Board will host two more meetings this week for residents to discuss matters related to the Tampa Police Department and the community.

The forums will allow residents to make suggestions, express concerns and get answers to their quests about the Tampa Police Department.

“I and other members of the Citizens Review Board believe these forums, and the monthly Citizens Review Board meetings, provide an opportunity for Tampa Police Chief Eric Ward and his leadership team to receive constructive feedback from the community they serve,” said Citizens Review Board Chair Rasheed Ali Aquil. “Ultimately we all have the same goal: a safer city.”

The upcoming meetings are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, June 8: Springhill Community Center, 1000 E. Eskimo Ave., 6:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 9: Middleton High School Auditorium, 4801 N. 22nd St., 6:30 to 8 p.m.

For more information, contact the Tampa Police Public Information Office at (813) 276-3255 or (813) 276-3252 after hours.
