Taste of South Tampa Set for Sunday in Hyde Park Village

Experience an assortment of menus from local restaurants without leaving Hyde Park Village.

Don’t miss the chance to sample foods from an assortment of local restaurants during the Taste of South Tampa in Hyde Park Village on Sunday, April 15.

At its seventh year, the event will feature a day full of delicious food and live entertainment from 1-5 p.m. at 1621 W. Snow Cir.

Food and beverage are covered with the admission. Water and soft drinks will be available, as well as beer and wine.

Participating restaurants and businesses include: Timpano Italian Chophouse, Press Box Sports Emporium and Eatery,, Whole Foods Market, Taps Wine & Beer Merchants, Just Thai, Hooters, GrillSmith, Bernini, and more.

One lucky restaurant will be awarded the title of “Best of the Taste of South Tampa.”

Advanced tickets are $35 per person, or $20 for individuals aged 11 to 20. Kids 10 and under receive free admission. Ticket prices increase $5 on the day of the event. VIP tickets for the air-conditioned VIP Lounge featuring champagne drinks are $50 in advance and $55 the day of the event.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, and the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Michael J. Cruz Fund, which distributes monetary donations back to the community.
