A developer has hired an architect and is in the process of taking in bids for what could be a Trader Joe's in South Tampa, according to a report from Tampabay.com.

The development would be neat South Dale Mabry Highway and Swann Avenue, according to the article.

Construction on the $1 million project may start as soon as the end of July, according to Bay News 9.
