What's Open, Closed In Tampa On MLK Day
Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park is now closed for preparations for the NFL Experience.

TAMPA, FL — In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, city of Tampa offices will be closed on Monday, Jan.
Residential customers will not receive collection service on Monday. The revised collection schedule is as follows:
- Residential customers who normally receive service on Monday will not receive garbage, recycling or yard waste service. Customers will receive service on their next scheduled service day. Regular residential solid waste collection service schedules will resume Tuesday, Jan. 19.
- Commercial customers who normally receive service on Monday will receive service on Tuesday. Collection service will continue to run one day behind through Saturday, Jan. 23.
- McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House located at 114 S. 34th St. will be closed on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will reopen with regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday.
Customers may contact the City of Tampa Utilities Call Center at 813-274-8811 or visit the websiteif they have any questions or concerns. New Tampa residents are encouraged to contact Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management.

Super Bowl Closures
With Super Bowl IV around the corner, the NFL Experience will soon be underway.
All tennis, pickleball and basketball courts are closed for public use. For alternate tennis and pickleball court locations click here. A list of alternate basketball courts can be found here.

Additionally, the entire Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, including courts, fields, shelters, playground, splash pad and the Tampa River Center is now closed. The dog park will remain open at this time.
The park and all amenities will reopen for public use on Monday, Feb. 15.
