The St. Petersburg apartment complex previously was sold in 2012.

An apartment building on Gandy Bouelvard has sold for $6.9 million.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that the 144-unit Gateway Apartments, at 2000 Gandy Blvd., was bought by a pair of Miami real estate investors – Francesco “Frank” Carriera and Michael Regan of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.

The sales price was slight higher than the $5.25 million price the property fetched in 2012. In 2008, it sold for $8.6 million.
