4 People Seriously Injured In Wrong-Way Crash On US 301

TAMPA, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a wrong-way crash that occurred Sunday on U.S. 301 and Harney Road.

According to troopers, at 12:05 a.m., Christopher Lynn, 41, of Lakeland was driving a Toyota Tundra north in the southbound lanes on U.S. 301 south of Harney Road when he struck a Toyota Tundra driven by Omar Mitchell Jr. 72, of Lakeland head on.

Lynn was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with serious injuries.

Mitchell and his passengers, Mary Mitchell, 70, and Elizabeth Mitchell, 13, were taken to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries.
