TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

What: Independence Celebration 2021
Where: Fireworks at Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club, 600 Inverness Ave., Temple Terrace; see parade route below

When: July 3; parade starts at 10 a.m.; evening festivities start at 6 p.m.
The 46th Annual Temple Terrace Independence parade will feature community and civic organizations, the Temple Terrace police and fire departments, city staff, local businesses and area dignitaries, as well as the C Leon King High School Marching Lions. The parade starts at Whiteway Drive and Gillette Avenue and winds through neighborhood streets, running south to Druid Hills, west to Ridgedale and then south again to the Temple Terrace Little League fields. Parking is allowed on any side street that doesn't have "No Parking" signs.
The Independence Celebration festivities resume at 6 p.m. on the first fairway of Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club with live music by Charlie Imes & the Sundogs, featuring Roger Bartlett, Jimmy Buffett's original lead guitarist.
There will be a variety of food trucks and entertainment for the kids, including Magician Cory Van Valin, who will perform his strolling close-up magic from 6 to 8 p.m.
Fireworks kick off at 9:15 p.m.
Parking is available at the Ridgedale Sports Complex, 204 Ridgedale Road, and on side streets not marked with "No Parking" signs.

What: Boom By The Bay
Where: Multiple locations in Tampa
When: 5 p.m.
The event begins at 5 p.m. on July 4 with a boat parade and Blessing of the Fleet, which is presented by Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk. The parade will take a similar route as the holiday light boat parade but will have three blessing stations.
The parade will begin in the Tampa Convention Center basin, travel to the Heights and end at Sparkman Wharf. Public viewing locations include the Armature Works, Channelside Drive, the Tampa Convention Center, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Davis Islands, Harbour Island, Sparkman Wharf and Water Works Park.
Following the boat parade, Boom by the Bay programming will begin at 7 p.m. with family-friendly activities spanning six waterfront locations, including two new locations. Each site will feature activities for all ages, food vendors, entertainment, and fireworks, which will be choreographed together and launched simultaneously at dusk (approximately 9:15 p.m.).
The six locations this year include: Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, presented by the Hard Rock; Armature Works; Tampa Convention Center; Sparkman Wharf; Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, presented by Tampa Downtown Partnership; and Bayshore Boulevard, presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Florida.
The event is free and open to the public. Event goers are reminded to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines and take advantage of sanitation stations at each location.
What: The Inaugural “The Fourth,” Independence Day Celebration at St. Pete Pier
Where: St. Pete Pier, 800 Second Ave. NE., St. Petersburg

This 3-day event is filled with fun activities for all, including the inaugural St. Pete Pier Run, Silent Disco, Gulp Coast Craft Beer Garden, food trucks & vendors, pie eating contest, live music on the Visit St. Pete Clearwater Main Stage, karaoke, Independence Day Movie, roaming entertainers, and so much more.
The traditional Fourth of July fireworks show sponsored by the city of St. Pete is scheduled for Sunday, July 4, at 9 p.m., and will be visible from the entire downtown waterfront, including Bayshore Drive, Straub Parks, Vinoy Park, and others.
What: Fourth of July Parade
Where: 200 Main Street, Safety Harbor
When: July 4, 10 a.m.
Bring the family to downtown Safety Harbor and see decorative floats and cars drive along Main Street as you celebrate Independence Day. This event is hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary. Remember to wear your red, white and blue. If you want to enter a float in the parade, call (727)726-9601.
What: Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration By Black Real Estate
Where: Veterans Park at the Safety Harbor Marina, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane, Safety Harbor
When: July 4, 5-9:30 p.m.
There will be children’s activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family. The fireworks display is scheduled for 9 p.m.
