Cub Scouts Pack 188 Looking for New Scouts

Cub Scouts Pack 188 in Temple Terrace is a fun, exciting pack and is looking to recruit new scouts for the year.

Temple Terrace Pack 188 is an active, engaged Cub Scout pack that meets Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 at the Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church. Our pack is dedicated to helping boys develop outdoor skills, life skills, and character.

Throughout the year, our pack participates in the Temple Terrace July 4th Parade, the Veterans Day Ceremony at Lewis Elementary, the Raingutter Regatta at Temple Terrace Reads, and several service projects to benefit our community and the world around us. We offer themed camp outs, STEM events, and several field trip events each year.

Cub Scouting is an opportunity for families to grow together. Parents are involved every step of the journey and our family-friendly pack welcomes siblings to most every event on our calendar. Our scouts are led by Boy Scouts of America trained adult/parent leaders and are coordinated by a BSA trained all-volunteer committee of parents.

Boys in 1st - 5th grade from all over the Temple Terrace area are welcome to our pack and join in the fun! Our dues are some of the lowest in Hillsborough County at only $70 for the year. There is still tons of fun planned for the scouting year including our Pinewood Derby, where scouts build and race their very own car! We are participating in an overnight camp-in at the Florida Aquarium as well as a few more fun-filled family camp outs before summer gets here.

Stop by one Tuesday evening to see what Pack 188 is all about. Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church is located at 420 Bullard Pkwy. Contact us at ttpack188@hotmail.com to find out more.
