Culture Club, B-52s Head to Sun Dome This Summer
Grammy Award-winning legends Boy George and Culture Club will embark on a major 2018 U.S. headline tour with the B-52s.

TAMPA, FL - Grammy Award-winning legends Boy George and Culture Club will embark on a major 2018 U.S. headline tour with the multi-platinum-selling band The B-52s.
The Life Tour: starring Boy George & Culture Club and The B-52s with special guest Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey will visit more than 40 cities across the U.S., kicking including a stop at Tampa's USF Sun Dome on Saturday, June 30 at 6:30 p.m.
"We put together an amazing show that is going to be filled with hits and fabulous memories. We know it will be hands down this summer's best night out," said Boy George.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, March 23 at 10 a.m. at the ticket office at the USF Sun Dome, Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com. To order tickets by phone, call 800-745-3000.
Ticket prices are $35, $55, $75, $99 and $150.

2018 marks a new era for Boy George and Culture Club who are currently working on their first new music in 20 years.
The tour setlist will celebrate some of their biggest hits plus give fans an advance listen to new songs.
Since their inception in 1981, Culture Club has sold more than 50 million albums and 100 million singles led by their classic hits, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me," "Karma Chameleon" and "I'll Tumble 4 Ya."
The group is fronted by British singer/songwriter Boy George, who was recently presented with the Ivor Novello lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the music industry.
As the first multi-racial band with an openly gay front man, Culture Club has set many records, including being the first band since The Beatles to have three Top 10 hits in America from a debut album Roy Hay, Mikey Craig and Jon Moss make up the remaining original lineup in the tour.
Nearly 40 years and over 20 million albums into their career, the B-52s are considered the world’s best party band with groundbreaking songs like "Rock Lobster," "Dance This Mess Around" and "Private Idaho," to chart-topping hits like "Love Shack," "Roam" and "Deadbeat Club."
Formed on an October night in 1976 following drinks at an Athens, Georgia Chinese restaurant, the band played their first gig at a friend's house on Valentine's Day 1977.
Naming themselves after Southern slang for exaggerated bouffant hairdos, the B-52s (Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, Keith Strickland, Cindy Wilson and Ricky Wilson) the B-52s’ self-titled debut disc, produced by Chris Blackwell, sold more than 500,000 copies.
