Flatwoods Trail North Loop to Close April 18
The North and South loops will close at different times between April and July.
THONOTOSASSA, FL – The Hillsborough County Conservation and Environmental Lands Management will stagger trail closures for construction at Flatwoods Wilderness Regional Park, 14302 Morris Bridge Road, Thonotosassa.
Work at the park will include providing maintenance to entrance roadways and the 7-mile loop, grading of the roadway shoulders and paving of the trail surface.
The schedule for the construction project is:
- Monday, April 18 to Friday, May 27: North Loop closed and South Loop open
- Monday, May 30 to Friday, July 8: South Loop closed and North Loop open
