Goo Goo Dolls Cancels Busch Gardens Appearance

A replacement act has yet to be named after the Goo Goo Dolls' cancellation.

TAMPA, FL — Illness has sidelined a planned appearance by the Goo Goo Dolls at Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival on Saturday.

The park made the announcement late Wednesday, saying that the cancellation was prompted by illness. It didn’t elaborate about which member of the band famed for such songs as “Iris” and “Slide” has taken ill.

While the concert was intended to be free for anyone at the park, Busch Gardens did sell advanced VIP seating packages. Anyone who purchased sets for the show can call 1-888-800-5447 for a refund. Refunds are also being offered at the front gate, the park said.
