Our PTA would like to congratulate Mrs. Kelli Rivera, 2015-2016 recipient of the Lauren Daly Moon "Heart of Lewis" Award. She was nominated by Lewis parents and chosen by a committee of community members and parents for demonstrating:- Loyalty to Lewis Elementary School

Our annual book exchange was a definite success! Mr. Fassel was able to pull a lot of chapter books from the media center to supplement the books for intermediate students. Thank you to everyone who donated books so that every student could receive a new book to take home. The looks on the kids faces were priceless.
At Lewis, we have a great tutoring program called PAL. The tutors and students have been working hard all year together and it shows. This program is all thanks to Lisa Jimenez. Thank you Lisa for administering this wonderful effort.
There are still a few positions open on our PTA board. If there is anything you’d like to do for next year or if you know of anyone that might want to take over one of the open positions, please contact Tiffany at president@lewispta.com.
We had a blast with our Spring Carnival and Book Fair. It was a lot of fun for the kids and the parents and the administration too. Congratulations to all the prize auction winners! Enjoy your goodies! Also, a big THANK YOU to the volunteers that helped make all of this possible.
