Prove Age Is Just A Number: Register For Senior Games
Registration has begun for the 2018 Tampa Bay Active Life Games, an Olympic-style competition that attracts hundreds of adults 50 and older.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- Registration has begun for the 2018 Tampa Bay Active Life Games, an Olympic-style competition that attracts hundreds of adults 50 and older each year.
The 38th annual competition continues the tradition of offering a variety of contests for all skill and fitness levels. Events range from track and field to cycling to pickleball to billiards, dominoes and horseshoes.
Some of the more than two dozen events are qualifiers for state competition.

Registration costs $30, and entrants can compete in as many events as they want. There is an additional $25 charge for those participating in the golf competition, which includes a cart. Opening day festivities and the awards luncheon are included with registration.
Registration continues through Sept. 19. The games begin Oct. 5 and conclude Oct. 9.The Tampa Bay Active Life Games are hosted by Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation, the City of Tampa, the City of Temple Terrace, and Friends of the County Parks.
