Looking to equip your child with skills to excel in our world? Riverhills Elementary Magnet School is the newest authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, implementing the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Students are introduced to content using unified themes that integrate the curriculum with skills, concepts, and broad-based knowledge of global issues. The approach of the PYP includes focus on the whole child as it includes classes in strings and Spanish, character development, service learning, inquiry, and critical thinking. Magnet application window is now open for the 2017-18 school year. Applications will be accepted until January 31st (closed during the Winter Break, 12/12-1/10) at the Hillsborough County Public Schools website.
