Riverhills Elementary Magnet IB receives national award

Riverhills Elementary Magnet IB School has once again received the National School of Excellence Merit Award given by Magnet Schools of America. This award is given to a select group of magnet schools throughout the country that have demonstrated the highest level of excellence. They are honored for their commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation and diversity efforts, and the consistent delivery of high quality educational services to all stakeholders.

Last year, Riverhills Elementary Magnet IB School was not only recognized as a School of Excellence but also received the top award for New and Emerging Magnet Programs in the country. Receiving the merit award a second year spotlights Riverhills' dedication to the development and growth of their International Baccalaureate Programme and their reach for excellence.
