ST. CATHERINE of ALEXANDRIA ANNUAL FINE ARTS SUMMER CAMP

Fine Arts Summer Camp Music, Dance, Art, Drama

The 5th Annual ST. CATHERINE'S SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS SUMMER CAMP will be held June 26 - June 30. It is open to students who live in Temple Terrace and have just completed FIRST through FIFTH GRADE. Campers will enjoy a week of MUSIC, ART, DANCE and DRAMA, and will be instructed by professional teachers, assisted by volunteers, mostly church members who have completed required training. There will be a CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, MORNING SNACKS, a full LUNCH, and AFTERNOON SNACKS, as well as indoor and outdoor activities during the lunch break.

Participants must live within five miles of St. Catherine of Alexandria Episcopal Church, 502 Druid Hills Rd. Although there is no grant to cover free tuition this year, for those able, the cost will be $100 per camper for the entire week, with a $25 pre-registration fee. Scholarships will be available for those who demonstrate financial need. Attendance is limited to 40 children who plan to attend the entire week. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The ST. CATHERINE'S SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS SUMMER CAMP began as a joint project with The Rev. Susan J. Latimer, Rector of St. Catherine’s, and Rebekah Brall, Director of the School of Fine Arts at St. Catherine’s, for the purpose of sharing creative experiences in the arts with children who otherwise might not have this opportunity. For more information and to apply for camp, call to speak with Manon Alewynse, Steering Committee Member, at 813-507-1334, or send an email to alewynse@verizon.net, and the application with further information will be sent to you. As attendance is limited, and there are quite a few returning campers, the committee asks that you make your application as soon as possible.
