Afternoon Tea

The GFWC Temple Terrace Woman’s Club is hosting its annual Afternoon Tea on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2 p.m., at Woodmont Clubhouse. There will also be a fashion show. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling 813-988-6794 or 813-988-5503.

Church Dedication

His Hands Community Bible Fellowship, 9730 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, will host its first service at 10:30 a.m. but it will host a dedication and pastor installation service for the Rev. Rudy Alexander at 5:30 p.m. The evening event also will include a dinner. 

On Stage At Cafe Kili

Todd Murphy will perform at Cafe Kili, 5731 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, Friday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. 

Cool Off At MOSI

Escape the heat and cool off Aug. 9-11 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, with half-price general admission. While you're there, check out Iron Man 3 in IMAX DOME Theatre for a limited engagement (movie tickets are an additional cost).

Relax With Live Music

Head over to Gaspar's Patio & Grill, 8448 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 9 p.m. for live music and drink specials. 

Dungeons And Dragons

Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse, 4819 E. Busch Blvd., Tampa, invites gamers to play D&D-type games Sunday, Aug. 18 from 7 to 11 p.m. 

Sing Your Heart Out

Shamrock's Ale House, 7805 Temple Terrace Highway, Temple Terrace, hosts live music every Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and karaoke every Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
