Temple Terrace Farmers Market Begins April 16
New, local fresh market open every Saturday through Oct. 8.
TEMPLE TERRACE, FL – Find farm-fresh Florida food favorites close to home when the Temple Terrace Farmers Market opens for business Saturday, April 16.
This brand-new farmer’s market will be held every Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. in the HART Park n’ Ride lot at 56th Street and 113th Avenue in Temple Terrace, adjacent to City Hall. The market will run through Saturday, Oct. 8.
The market is sponsored by TrailBale Farm, in partnership with other area farms. To start, the Temple Terrace Farmer’s Market will feature:
- Organic vegetables
- Gourmet mushrooms
- Quail and chicken eggs
- Roasted coffee
- Grass-fed meats
- Local honey
- Tropical plants
- Expert knife and tool sharpening
As the farmer market grows, handmade crafts and other complementary items will be ready.
