Temple Terrace to Host 'Bike with the Mayor' Day
The leisurely 3.9 mile ride will start at 7:30 am on March 17. There will be light refreshments, free bicycle lights, free T-shirts, & more.

From Temple Terrace: Bicycle enthusiasts are invited to take a ride along the shady streets of Temple Terrace on March 17 as the City hosts its annual “Bike with the Mayor” day.
This free event is open to all riders. Activities begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Family Recreation Complex, 6610 Whiteway Drive. At around 8 a.m., Mayor Kim Leinbach will lead riders on a leisurely 3.9-mile ride along the beautiful, tree-lined streets of Temple Terrace.
There will be light refreshments, free bicycle lights, free T-shirts, safety information and other giveaways for
riders (while supplies last). The event was a huge success last year, with more than 75 riders participating.
“Bike with the Mayor” is being held in recognition and celebration of Florida Bike Month – March 2017. On
March 7, the City Council will issue a proclamation declaring “Florida Bike Month in Temple Terrace.”

The City of Temple Terrace is proud to co-sponsor this event with Bike/Walk Tampa Bay (funded by FDOT)
and the Center for Urban Transportation Research at USF.
