Temple Terrace July 4 Fireworks, Parades and More: 2018 Guide

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL -- Everyone loves a parade, especially Temple Terrace.

Fourth Of July Parade

The city's traditional Fourth of July parade will feature marching bands, floats, classic cars, veterans groups, firetrucks and a host of other traditional parade favorites Wednesday, July 4.

The two-hour parade will get underway at 10 a.m. at the Family Recreation Complex, 6610 E. Whiteway Drive and Gillette Avenue, and continue south on Druid Hills Road, west to Ridgedale Road and south the the Temple Terrace Little League fields at 204 Ridgedale Road.

This year's grand marshals will be members of the Temple Terrace Community Arts Council.

Spectators may park on any side street that doesn't have a "no parking" sign posted.

Fireworks On The Greens

The celebration will continue from 6 to 9 p.m. with fireworks at the first fairway of the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club, 200 Inverness Ave., between Belle Terre and Woodmont avenues. There will be food vendors and music. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

July 4 At Busch Gardens

A few miles Busch Boulevard, Busch Gardens will host its Independence Day festivities all day July 4.

With the price of admission, residents can enjoy all the animal exhibits and thrill rides throughout the day. That evening, the theme park will celebrate with live entertainment and dancing along with an extended fireworks show set to patriotic music.
