Temple Terrace Police Identify Man Who Was Fatally Shot

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Temple Terrace Police have identified the man killed in the Boardwalk at Morris Bridge apartments shooting as Tyler Drejon Ford, 21, of 7503 S. Sanibel Circle, Temple Terrace.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Temple Terrace Police responded to a 6:29 p.m. call regarding a shooting in the 8700 block of Boardwalk Path Drive. Once on the scene, officers discovered Ford dead of a gunshot wound. A second shooting victim was transported to an area hospital from the ER 24/7 on Fowler Avenue. The identity of that individual has not been released.

Temple Terrace Police have released photos of two men who are persons of interest in the shooting.

Officers would like to question Iver Leon Rogers II, 22 of Clermont Street, Tampa, and Marcus Leauan King, 38, of Princeton Lakes Drive in Brandon. One of these men is believed to be the driver of a green Kia Soul that was spotted at the apartment complex around the time of the shooting
