Temple Terrace Police Investigate Sexual Battery At Apartment
Temple Terrace Police Department is investigating an overnight sexual battery reported to have occurred outside an apartment building.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL -- The Temple Terrace Police Department is investigating an overnight sexual battery reported to have occurred outside an apartment building in The Preserve at Temple Terrace Apartment Community, 7855 E. Fletcher Ave.
A woman reported to police that, while walking in the apartment community shortly after midnight, she saw a a group of four or five people acting suspiciously. She changed direction to avoid the group.
A few minutes later, while walking between two of the apartment buildings, she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted.

The primary attacker was a man of unknown age and ethnicity, wearing a black tube-style mask with a white skull face. Descriptions for others in the group are not yet available.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have information related to this case or who may have observed suspicious activity in the apartment community between 11 p.m. May 7 and 1 a.m. May 8.

Residents should remain alert at all times, especially during the nighttime hours, and report suspicious activities to the police immediately.
