Temple Terrace Police Seek Attempted Winn-Dixie Robber
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest of an attempted robber.
TEMPLE TERRACE, FL -- Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest of a man that tried to rob the Temple Terrace Winn-Dixie on Jan. 29.
According to Temple Terrace Police detectives, at 12:49 p.m. a man walked into the Winn-Dixie at 8775 Temple Terrace Highway, approached the clerk and asked if the store cashes payroll checks.
The man then passed a note to the clerk demanding cash. He left the store without obtaining any money.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 270 to 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, tan shorts, dark shoes and a black ball cap.
