Temple Terrace Summer Expo 2016 Set for April 16

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL – Summer is just around the corner, and so are the summertime activities that come with fun in the sun.

On Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Temple Terrace will host its Summer Expo 2016 at the Temple Terrace Recreation Complex, 6610 Whiteway Drive.

The event kicks off summer registration for recreational programs in the city. Residents who sign up at the kick-off event will receive a discount on summer camps.

Aside from registration for the summer swim team, athletics, gymnastics, tennis, coaching and training there will also be registration for:

• Summer Youth Programs: Camp runs eight weeks, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early rate is $455 for full summer if registered by May 15. The rate increases to $480 on May 16. Monthly rates are available.
• Swim Lessons: Rates range from $40 to $60 for eight lessons per two-week session. Lessons are available for toddles to adults.
