From Farm Night BBQ: The Bellamy Brothers, one of Florida’s most successful hit-makers, will headline the second annual Farm Night BBQ on Feb. 24, 2017. The event is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the M&B Products dairy farm, 8601 Harney Road. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale! Many thanks to this year’s title sponsor: Fresh from Florida – the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
The inaugural Farm Night BBQ raised more than $10,000 for Temple Terrace youth recreation programs, and having the Bellamy Brothers on the bill is sure to spark even more interest in the event, said Dale McClellan, president of M&B Products, Inc.
“This is exciting,” he said. “We’ve got a big-time band, some of the best barbecue in Florida, and a generous helping of Temple Terrace hospitality − all at an amazing price. This will be a night to remember.” Farm Night BBQ 2017 promises an exciting evening of family fun. Kids will get a taste of farm life, with a chance to see a butter-making exhibit, cracker whip/roping demonstrations and more. They’ll explore a variety of hands-on experiences sponsored by Hillsborough County Ag-Venture. There will be hayrides, a bonfire and other
activities. Representatives from Temple Terrace’s Farm2School program at Greco Middle School also will be on hand, teaching kids about the importance of agriculture.
