Trump's Tampa Rally: What You Need To Know

The Republican presidential hopeful is coming to Tampa Friday.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area Donald Trump supporters and those who just want a chance to hear the Republican presidential hopeful live will get the opportunity Friday.

The victor of the Republican New Hampshire primary is making his way to Tampa’s USF Sun Dome for a rally. Before folks head out to the Sun Dome there are some things they need to know:

Rally Location

The Sun Dome address is 4202 E. Fowler Ave.

Time

The rally begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Tickets

Tickets for the event are free and are available online via EventBrite.

Parking

It costs $20 a vehicle to park at the Sun Dome for this event, according to the Sun Dome’s website. The fee is payable in cash only and larger vehicles may cost more.

Several University of South Florida parking lots are being made available for the rally. Parking attendants and signage will be posted to help direct viistors to the correct parking locations.

Banned Items

There are a number of items that are not permitted inside the Sun Dome. They include:

  • Firearms and weapons
  • Hazardous and chemical materials
  • Toy guns and toy weapons
  • Fireworks
  • Needles
  • Glass bottles
  • Pepper spray, scissors, tools
  • Signage of any kind
  • Outside food and drink
  • Produce, coolers
  • Laser pointers, tripods and umbrellas

Florida’s Presidential Preference Primary takes place March 15. The deadline for voters to register or change party affiliations for the closed primary is Feb. 16.
