Investigators, examining occurrences from previous years, have linked Johnson to another incident on March 25, 2017. Information from both of these investigations was referred to the State Attorney's Office for review to determine if Johnson will be formally charged under Florida Statute 800.03.

The University of South Florida Police Department has issued a trespass order which restricts Johnson from entering all USF system properties.
