They’re cute, cuddly and full of energy. They’re also two of the newest stars at Busch Gardens Tampa.

Weighing in around 12 pounds each, Thabo and Tendai are the theme park’s newest cheetah cubs. Born Nov. 22, the critters made their video debut Tuesday on the park’s YouTube channel.

Thabo, which means “joy,” and Tendai, which means “thankful,” are currently receiving 24-hour care in the park’s Edge of Africa area. They can be seen at various times throughout the day in that viewing area and by those who take Animal Care Center Behind the Scenes tours through March 1.

Very soon, however, they’ll join the bigger cats in the Cheetah Run habitat, Busch Gardens announced.

Cheetahs are considered the world’s fast land mammal, according to National Geographic. They can go from zero to 60 mph within three seconds. The creatures are native to Africa and are considered vulnerable.

The cheetah cubs aren’t the only new arrivals at the Tampa park. Two rare lowland gorilla babies were born in recent months, as well.
