FIDF Appoints Miriam Engel to S. Palm Beach/Broward Ex. Director

Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) announced the appointment of Miriam Engel to the position of South Palm Beach Executive Director, effective Mid-July.

“We welcome Miriam to the FIDF family as the South Palm Beach/Broward Director and wish her good luck in her new role,” said FIDF Greater Miami Chapter Executive Director Dina Ben Ari. “Her passion and love for the IDF will make a real difference in the lives of the soldiers and the State of Israel.”

Engel joins FIDF with about 30 years of multi-faceted educational leadership with experience in the United States, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Most recently she served as Dean of Jewish Life, Judaic Chair, and Judaic Studies teacher at Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton.

“I am passionate about Israel and firmly believe in the mission of the IDF,” said Engel. “Our soldiers’ dedication and commitment to the people of Israel deserves our reciprocal commitment to help them protect and serve.
