Seagull Services names new Executive Board of Directors
Michael Cowan, Principal of Gardens Wealth Management, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seagull Services.

Michael Cowan, Managing Principal of Gardens Wealth Management, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seagull Services. The Board elected Cowan and its other officers for the 2021-22 year at its organizational meeting on March 25, 2021.
Deaina Brown of West Palm Beach was named Vice Chair. Immediate Past Chair Laura Fowler of Jupiter will serve as treasurer, and Jim Weber of Loxahatchee continues as the Board Secretary. The four will serve as Seagull’s Executive Board.
In addition to the officers, the Board of Directors includes Judith Dynia, Mary Helen Johnson, Pierre Rodriguez, Katrina Long-Robinson, and Gary Swick.

Founded in 1979, Seagull Services provides advocacy and programs to adults and students with developmental disabilities. The agency provides advocacy and a variety of educational, social and vocational programs through its Adult Day Program, Business Services division, Supported Employment programs, and charter school, Seagull Academy for Independent Living.
