Shooting Outside Funeral Leaves 2 Dead, 2 Hospitalized: Police

A 15-year-old boy is among those who died following the shooting at Victory City Church in Riviera Beach, police said.

RIVIERA BEACH, FL — Two people are dead and two hospitalized following a shooting at a Riviera Beach church Saturday. According to a news release from the City of Riviera Beach, the victims were shot after a funeral outside Victory City Church, 163 W. 20th St.

According to the release, the shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. A 15-year-old boy and another man died at the scene, officials said. A woman was also shot and transported to St. Mary's Medical Center. Another juvenile was also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police said 13 discharged rounds were discovered at the scene.
