West Palm Beach Businesses Encouraged To Apply For CARES Funds
The program resumes on Friday, Sept. 25.

Palm Beach County (PBC), a partner of the City of West Palm Beach, will resume its CARES Restart Business Grants Program on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 8:00 AM. The City of West Palm Beach encourages its local businesses to apply for a portion of the $23 million that will be offered through this program.

PBC has approved the availability of individual grants of up to $25,000 to help “restart” local businesses that were forced to close by either State or County order. Applications for the program will be submitted through the County’s online portal, and eligibility criteria can be found on the County’s website. Information that applicants will need to provide includes:
- Tax returns
- Payroll reports
- An active PBC business receipt (or valid exemption from the County’s tax collector)
Applications will be processed on a first come, first eligible basis. The online application will be available for a two-week period, closing on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:59 P.M. Please note that businesses that have previously received funding through the County’s CARES program are not eligible to apply for the Restart Business Program.
