CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ENGINEERING ROAD CLOSURES

  • Banyan Complete Streets Project- Phase 1: Banyan Blvd. between Australian Ave. and Quadrille Blvd. (through 2022): Intermittent eastbound traffic adjustments for mobility, landscaping, and utility improvements. Eastbound and westbound traffic on Banyan Blvd. will be maintained during the construction period.
  • Division Ave. between 23rd St. and 25th St. (through March 2021): Lane closures for installation of a new water main. Access to all businesses will be maintained.
  • 23rd St. & Division Ave. intersection (through Thursday, January 21, 2021): intersection closed for water main installation.
  • Dreher Trail North at the Dreher Park north bridge (through mid-February 2021): The north bridge, south of the north parking lot will be closed for construction. The north parking lot and trails remain accessible from Southern Blvd. Motorists must use Summit Blvd. to access the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society, South Florida Science Museum and Aquarium, and the Stiles-Nicholson STEM Education Center.
  • Rosemary Ave. between Banyan Blvd. and 3rd St. (Friday, January 22, 2021): Daytime lane closures for road improvements. Flaggers will assist motorists in the work zone.
  • 2400 Centre Park West Alley between Bristol Dr. to dead-end west of Australian Blvd. (through March 2021): Alley is closed for underground utility repair.

PRIVATE ROAD CLOSURES

  • 36th St. at the Brightline Railway Crossing (Monday, January 25, 2021, 7:00 a.m. through Friday, February 5, 2021, 7:00 p.m.): Full road closure for crossing upgrades. Detour information:
  • Eastbound 36th St. traffic will be directed to travel south on Greenwood Ave. to 30th St., travel east on 30th St to Pinewood Ave. and travel north on Pinewood Ave. to access 36th St.
  • Westbound 36th St. traffic will be directed to travel south on Pinewood Ave. to 30th St., travel west on 30th St. to Greenwood Ave. and travel north on Greenwood Ave. to access 36th St.
  • Trinity Pl. between South Dixie Hwy. and South Olive Ave. (Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.): Road closure to complete storm drain connections as part of the 695 Microunits project. Access to the Canopy Hotel will be maintained at Trinity Pl. and South Dixie Hwy. Flaggers will assist motorists in the construction zone.
  • Datura St. between Quadrille Blvd. and South Dixie Hwy. (through early 2022): Westbound lane closure for construction of a senior living facility. Motorists should use Clematis St. or Evernia St. as westbound alternatives.
  • The Intersection of Rosemary Ave. and Fern St. (through Friday, January 29, 2021): Closed as part of Rosemary Square Streetscape Project. Motorists should use Sapodilla Ave. and Evernia St. for access to businesses.
  • Rosemary Ave. between Evernia St. and Fern St. (through March 2021): Full road closure for completion of Rosemary Square Streetscape Project. Access to the west sidewalk and businesses will be maintained.

PALM BEACH COUNTY (PBC) ENGINEERING & PUBLIC WORKS ROAD CLOSURES IN CITY OF WPB

  • North Congress Avenue south of Executive Center Dr. (until further notice): Periodic eastbound right lane closures and westbound U-Turn lane closures at 5th Street and Belvedere Rd.
  • Okeechobee Blvd. and Jog Rd. (until further notice): Intermittent lane closures for intersection improvements.
  • Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. and Australian Ave. (until further notice): Periodic lane closures for intersection improvements. Carver Ave. at Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. is closed. To access Carver Ave., use Australian Ave. south to 7th St., and go west to Carver Ave.
  • Roebuck Rd. from Jog Rd. to east of Haverhill Rd. (until further notice): Periodic lane closures for pavement markings.
  • Australian Ave. at the southeast corner of Belvedere Rd. (until further notice): Periodic nighttime northbound double lane closures. Periodic southbound U-turn lane closures.
  • Australian Ave. south of Belvedere Rd. (until further notice): Periodic northbound right lane closures for sidewalk repairs.
  • Greenwood Ave. one-half mile north of 45th St. (until further notice): Periodic southbound lane closures for driveway and sidewalk connections and utility work.
  • Northlake Blvd. west of Ballen Isles Dr./Steeplechase Dr. to west of Beeline Hwy. (until further notice): Periodic westbound right lane closures for AT&T aerial work.

FLORIDA DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION (FDOT) ROAD CLOSURES IN CITY OF WPB

  • Vehicle Detection & Traffic Signals Improvement Project (through Summer 2021): This improvement project is upgrading traffic signalization with video vehicle detection (camera) systems at area intersections. Motorists should expect slower traffic and construction activity at the following intersections:
  • 45th St. at Corporate Way
  • 45th St. at Haverhill Rd.
  • Quadrille Blvd. at Hibiscus St.
  • I-95 northbound and southbound on-ramps at Okeechobee Blvd. (through Spring 2021): Three I-95 southbound inside lanes will be closed nightly at Okeechobee Boulevard, Sunday through Thursday. Two lanes will close at 9 p.m., and the third lane will close at 11:30 p.m. All lanes will open at 5 a.m. Detours:
  • Eastbound traffic approaching the I-95 northbound on-ramp will be directed east to U-turn at Parker Ave., then west on Okeechobee Blvd. to the northbound on-ramp.
  • Westbound traffic approaching the I-95 southbound on-ramp will be directed west to U-turn at Church St., then east on Okeechobee Blvd. to the southbound on-ramp.
  • Westbound North Quadrille Blvd. between 6th St. and 5th St. (through Friday, January 22, 2021): Intermittent lane closures, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for electric power conduit installation.
  • Westbound Okeechobee Blvd. between South Sapodilla Ave. and South Rosemary Ave. (through Tuesday, February 9, 2021): One of four lanes closed, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for underground utility installation.
  • Southbound North Quadrille Blvd. between Banyan Blvd. and 3rd Street (through Wednesday, February 10, 2021): Intermittent lane closures, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for underground utility and pole installation.
  • Southbound South Dixie Hwy. between Belvedere Rd. and Monceaux Rd. (through Monday, February 15, 2021): One of two lanes closed, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for concrete pole and equipment installation.
  • Flagler Dr. between Southern Blvd. and Worth Ct. North. (through summer 2021): will be closed for roadway reconstruction as part of the Southern Blvd. bridge replacement project. Access is maintained for local traffic only. Flagler Dr. sidewalks, from Southern Blvd. to Worth Ct. N., and the Southern Blvd. south sidewalk, from Washington Rd. to Flagler Dr., will remain closed through summer 2021. Detours:
    • Traffic going north of Flagler Dr. should:
      • Go west on Worth Ct. N. to Washington Rd.;
      • Go north on Washington Rd. to Southern Blvd;
      • Go east on Southern Blvd. to Flagler Dr.
    • Traffic going south on Flagler Dr. should:
      • Go west on Southern Blvd. to Washington Rd.;
      • Go South on Washington Rd. to Worth Ct N.;
      • Go east on Worth Court N. to Flagler Dr.
  • Pedestrians using Flagler Dr. between Southern Blvd. and N. Worth Ct. should:
  • Use the east Flagler Dr. sidewalk.
  • Pedestrians using Southern Blvd., between Washington Rd. and Flagler Dr. should:
  • Use the north Southern Blvd. sidewalk.

CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH DOCKS

  • Currie Park Boat Docks and Ramps (2400 North Flagler Dr.): Ramps are open daily, sunrise to sunset.
  • Lake Mangonia Park Boat Ramps (2957 North Australian Ave): Ramps are open daily, sunrise to sunset.
  • Clematis St. Docks (South Clematis St. at South Flagler Dr.): Docks are open daily, from 5:00 a.m. until midnight.
  • Fern St. Dock (Fern St. at South Flagler Dr): Docks are open daily, from 5:00 a.m. until midnight. The Fern St. Dock is available for day docking only. No overnight dockage is allowed for boats. dinghies or kayaks.
  • When using the docks, please follow COVID-19 CDC guidelines and local orders governing facial coverings.
