White House Press Pool Driver Detained By Secret Service

The driver of the van transporting the White House pool was detained by the Secret Service after he was found to have a gun.

WEST PALM BEACH. FL – The driver of the van carrying reporters and photographers covering the president was detained Monday morning in West Palm Beach. Secret Service agents found that he had a gun in his possession.

One of the reporters on scene said that the Secret Service found the gun in the man's bag. The driver said that he had forgot to leave the gun in his personal vehicle.

At no time was the driver anywhere near President Trump.

A second driver in the motorcade was also detained after he grazed a car in a parking lot.

The motorcade was taking the president, who has been staying at his Mar-a-Lago resort, to Trump International Golf Course nearby.
