13-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck By Car Sustains Minor Injuries
A 13-year-old bicyclist received minor injuries after being struck by a car while attempting to cross Countryway Boulevard.

WESTCHASE, FL -- A 13-year-old bicyclist received minor injuries after being struck by a car while attempting to cross Countryway Boulevard at the intersection of Race Track Road.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, on Thursday, May 10 at 8:55 a.m., the teen began crossing the road on a red "Do Not Cross" pedestrian signal and was struck by a car as it was making a right turn from Countryway to southbound Race Track Road.
The cyclist was knocked to the ground and received minor injuries. The teen's parents arrived on the scene and took the teen for medical treatment.
