3 Die In Crash In Westchase
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed three people in Westchase.
WESTCHASE, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed three people in Westchase.
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, at around 5 a.m., a 2020 silver Chevy Malibu traveling north on Sheldon Road ran a red light and was struck on the left back side by a 2017 white Nissan Altima traveling east on West Linebaugh Avenue. The impact caused the Chevy Malibu to lose control and collide with a utility pole. All three occupants were ejected from the car and died at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan Altima was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital with serious injuries.

"We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of these three victims who lost their lives in this terrible accident," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "I urge all drivers to use caution on the roadways and obey traffic laws to avoid these tragic losses."
