Be Nice, Get a Free Breakfast

It pays to be nice this month - literally.

McDonald's restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay are giving away free Egg White Delight McMuffins to people who do good in their community.

The "Be Delightful" campaign is being run through Twitter, where users must tweet @McDTampaBay an act of kindness that includes the tag #BeDelightful, according to this Tampa Tribune article.

An example of a worthy tweet would be @McDTampaBay I opened the door for a pregnant lady #BeDelightful. Tweeters will be notified by the restaurant for their prize.

Some recent #BeDelightful Tweets include:

@McDTampaBay Carried a tray at @sweettomatoes for a grandma having a struggle with her grandson. #BeDelightful

@McDTampaBay yesterday I let 10 people go ahead of me through security at the airport. #bedelightful

Of course the contest is run on the honor system. And anyway, lying about being nice just isn't a delightful thing to do.
