Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing At Curve On Memorial Highway

TAMPA, FL -- A motorcyclist has died at Tampa General Hospital from injuries following a crash on Memorial Highway near the Tampa International Airport exit.

According to Tampa Police, the motorcyclist was heading north on Memorial Highway at State Road 60 Friday night, April 20, when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a guard rail.

The rider was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital where he died of his injuries. His name is not being released until next of kin had been notified.
