AUGUSTA, GA — Dustin Johnson is the winner of the 2020 Masters golf tournament. He finished the 84th annual tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia at -20, tying the record for the lowest score ever recorded at a major professional golf championship.

Johnson won The Masters by five strokes, finishing ahead of two who tied for runner-up: Cameron Smith and Im Sung-jae. Tiger Woods, the 2019 Masters winner, finished tied for 38th at a +4.

The win was Johnson's first at Augusta. It's his second major victory, coming four years after his win at the 2016 U.S. Open.

It was an historic win for Johnson, who not only tied the major record at -20, but recorded the lowest score in Masters history at 268 and had the fewest bogeys in tournament history with four, according to SportsCenter.

This year's Masters tournament was delayed from April to November due to the coronavirus, and no fans were in attendance for the first time ever as a way to help prevent the virus' spread.
