Man Accused Of Triple Murder At GA Golf Course Says He's Innocent

COBB COUNTY, GA ? The man accused of killing three people, including a pro golfer last July at a Cobb County golf course, might get the death penalty, but he says he?s innocent.

Bryan Rhoden is accused of killing pro golfer Gene Siller, as well as Henry Valdez, 46, and Paul Pierson, 76, at Pinetree Country Club, according to multiple reports. He is charged with malice murder, felony murder, and kidnapping. Rhoden could now be facing the death penalty, the Cobb County District Attorney?s Office told WGCL-TV.

On Tuesday Rhoden posted to Instagram calling the charges, ?erroneous? and "accusatory.?

Rhoden duct-taped and zip-tied Valdez and Pierson before driving them to the golf course, reported WSB-TV. He?s also accused of shooting and killing Siller who just happened to be at the Cobb golf course that day.

The bodies were all found on the golf course at the Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw in July of 2021, reported WXIA-TV. Cobb County Police said Siller walked up on the crime so was shot because he was a witness. Valdez and Pierson were found tied up and shot to death in the bed of a pickup truck on the green.
