AUGUSTA, GA — The Masters golf tournament gets underway at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia on Thursday, some 19 months after the 2019 classic that ended with Tiger Woods claiming his fifth green jacket. Ninety-two golfers, including the defending champion Woods, make up the field in the 2020 Masters.

Held every year at Augusta, The Masters is the only one of golf’s four major professional championships that does not switch sites on a yearly basis. Usually held in April, the 2020 Masters was postponed to Nov. 12-15 due to the coronavirus crisis. No fans will be in attendance, to help slow the spread of the virus.
