GEORGIA — More than 1.4 million Georgians have received the COVID-19 vaccination as of Saturday, according to Gov. Brian Kemp’s office.

Kemp encouraged all Georgians to continue to fight against the coronavirus by wearing a mask, social distancing and washing hands.
“It is up to all of us to protect each other and stop the spread of this virus,” Kemp said.
The vaccine is now available for 1A+ eligible Georgians, including first responders (police, firefighters, and paramedics), healthcare workers, residents and staff at long-term healthcare facilities, and adults age 65 years or older and their caregivers.
You can make vaccination appointments with Kroger, Ingles, Publix, Walmart, CVS, and U Save It Pharmacies or use the state Department of Public Health Vaccine Locator to find providers offering the vaccine.
